Attorney Stephen D. Silveri
|

|
Attorney Stephen D. Silveri primarily focuses his
efforts in the areas of Real Estate and Estate
Planning. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English
Literature, with a concentration in Professional
Writing and Technical Communication, from the
University of Massachusetts at Amherst. After making
his mark in the high-technology sector for several
years, he then pursued his Juris Doctor at Suffolk
University Law School where he was the recipient of
the coveted "Best Advocate Award" at the National
Tax Trial competition in St. Petersburg, Florida.
He is currently admitted to practice in both the Massachusetts and Federal
Court systems, serves as a legal advisor to
Sage Strategies, LLC,
is an ambassador to the
Neponset Valley
Chamber of Commerce, and is an active member of several
professional organizations including the Massachusetts
Real Estate Bar Association. He is a frequent speaker at Suffolk
University Law School, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association and
the Tri-County Board of Realtors
where he lectures about such topics as Real Estate Law, Attorney
Marketing, and Career Planning. In 2007, he was recognized
as one of Boston's "brightest" lawyers by the President of the
Boston Bar Association when he was selected to be a part of its
prestigious Public Interest Leadership Program (PILP).
He also has a long-standing commitment to the
community which is evident from his work as a
volunteer lecturer, a
project leader for a local volunteer organization
called
Boston Cares,
and his fundraising efforts in connection with six
Boston Marathons where he has raised in excess of twenty
thousand dollars. For more

Boston Marathon to Benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society,
April 2005, April 2006, April 2007 & April 2008
Attorney Silveri ran the Boston Marathon in April
2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 for the
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and raised $3,500, $4,000, $6,000,
and $6,100 respectively. For the 2007 and the 2008 Marathon
training season, he served, as a team mentor to
assist less experienced marathoners.

April 2001
Attorney Silveri's second attempt at the Boston
Marathon where he raised $2,700 for the
Children's Hospital.
Boston Marathon to Benefit the Special Olympics, April
2000
Attorney Silveri's first attempt at the Boston Marathon
where he raised $3,200 for the
Special Olympics.
Volunteer Legal Information Sessions for Local Residents
Periodically, Attorney Silveri holds free legal
information sessions at the law firm for residents of
Dedham and the surrounding communities on such pertinent
topics as purchasing a home, selling a home, and estate-planning
basics.
Boston Cares Volunteer Group Leader, February
1999-Present
Attorney Silveri has been an active member of the
Boston Cares volunteer organization since February
of 1999. In
February of 2000, Attorney Silveri became a group leader
and has led volunteer projects in and around the Boston
and Metrowest areas. These projects included serving
meals at both the
Pine Street Inn (Boston) and the
New England Shelter For Homeless Veterans (Boston),
helping to restore both Southwest Corridor Park (Jamaica
Plain) and Village Falls Park (Needham), repainting the
Home For Little Wanderers (Allston), and helping to
facilitate the annual
Run Of The Charles Canoe & Kayak Race (Dedham).
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA), April
2004
Attorney Silveri volunteered for the
Boston Bar Association's VITA program, helping
low-income individuals prepare their
Massachusetts and Federal Income Tax returns.
